The southern half of the tiny Wespija Continent is the jungle covered country of Hrungia, being close to the equator it is hot and humid all year round, it is on the south-western coast of this tropical land where you will find Faliri, the capital city of the Torakar. The City itself is maze of giant trees and bamboo with structures built on bridges between and around these natural supports. The Torakar actually know almost nothing of the Elvari war as they were pretty much cut off from the rest of the world for thousands of years until a group of Torakar fisherman came across a Draska vessel bound for the Ferenze continent. since that occurrence 500 years ago Faliri has become one of the Fae realms most diverse cities second only to Vel-Arn.

Torakar are of a shared ancestry to the Liokar and Pantrokar so they have similar cat like feature to their kinsfolk, they are however very similar in size and markings to the Tigers of Earth, The most common fur patterns are Orange with black/brown stripes, White with Black/brown stripes or Black with white/orange stripes although variations have been reported and stripe/hair dying is common amongst youngsters. They are the largest of the three Nekorin races followed by the Liokar then the Pantrokar. The torakar are superb hunters and are incredibly agile for their size, they have one flaw however, they are generally useless at tapping into the ether giving them trouble casting the simplest spells meaning that natural born mages within the Torakar race are 1 in 50 as opposed to the average in most none magical races being 1 in 20 and 1 in 5 for the magical races such as majin. Torakar names tend not to have any set pattern as they are such a culturally diverse people so they tend to name their cubs after great heroes of legend or choose names from their partner's traditions if they are not Torakar.
Torakar also don't believe in sexuality, they usually have up a life-mate who is their lover and then they choose breeding-mates based on genetic strength which has lead to the Torakar being not only culturally diverse but also genetically diverse.

Volt is the second oldest of four cubs all from differing fathers, he was brought up by his mother who happens to be a world renowned Herbalist, she passed on to him her love of all things natural and so decided that he wanted to become a Beast Healer (that's vet to you and me). he's in his 3rd year at the Glass Hearts Academy and is having lots of fun with girls and a few boys too.
